Is This Normal (Revised): MORE Girls' Questions, Answered by the Editors of The Care & Keeping of You by Darcie Johnston is I have looked everywhere for a book that explains these body issues, read hundreds of reviews- I finally decided on this book & I am glad I did. I read this entire book before giving it to my 12yr old. I tore out 4 pages. Two on how to insert a tampon & two on eating disorders. There was nothing inappropriate about these pages- this is just what I decided to do. The book is written perfectly, giving brief, but thorough information. I was glad to see some of the subjects - which I believe will help my daughter feel “less alone” in her experiences.
