Llama Llama Sand and Sun: A Touch & Feel Book by Anna Dewdney is The Llama Llama board books are much simpler than the original paper books, which is fine for younger kids, but may have a hard time keeping their interest as they grow. Llama Llama Nighty Night is that way for my kid (20 months old) - too simple, moving on Mom! However, even though Llama Llama at the Beach is simple, the touch/feel aspect keeps his interest, so we haven't outgrown this one yet. We live in Florida, so we always read this one in the days leading up to a beach trip. It's a good book for little ones, but I don't expect my toddler's interest to last much longer.
Llama Llama Sand and Sun: A Touch & Feel Book by Anna Dewdney is I have a few of the classic Llama Llama stories for my older daughter and we love those, so I was excited to see a Touch and Feel Llama Llama board book for my 15 month old's Easter basket. When I read it, the rhyming text was cute and fun to read, but there isn't much of a storyline. It really just talks about some of the things to do at the beach like spreading a towel, making a sandcastle, and swimming in the ocean. There is only one touch and feel part per two page spread. The book is really short, so I wish the story was longer for the price of $13. But it's a good introduction to the beach for my toddler since it'll be her first time going this year. I like the book, but it's too pricey for what you get.

Llama Llama Sand and Sun: A Touch & Feel Book by Anna Dewdney is As usual, Anna made a cute little book about Llama and his Mama. I wish it was longer but it's just one of her little board books. It's cute how she added touch n feel details though. We own almost all of the Llama books and they never disappoint.
